Creating your career page
Create and customise your careers page
Recruitment enables you to create and customise your own careers site in just a few clicks so that you can easily share your job openings, showcase your employer brand and get candidates excited about what your company offers.
As an Account Owner or Admin, you can view and edit your careers site by heading to Settings - Career Site - Customise to get started.
When creating and customising your careers site you are able to:
- Add your company logo
- Replace imagery
- Update your text
- Add, remove and reorder sections
- Customise your fonts and colours
- Add company navigation links
To add your company's logo at the top of your careers page, head to Edit - Upload your new image - Open.
Replacing images
To change the images in your careers page, Edit - Upload your new image - Open.
From here you'll be asked to crop your images to be optimised for both desktop and mobile. You can zoom in and out to get the fit you are looking for.
Note: your images must be less than 5MB.
Updating text
When you begin with customising your careers site, you'll find we've left some placeholder text and best practices you might want to follow, including the Page Title and 'About Us' section. All of these are editable on page, making it simple to adapt to your company messaging.
Adding, removing, and reordering sections
You can add more sections from our templates by heading to Settings - Add a section - Hover over the section and click Add. The newly added section will default to the bottom of the page, but can be adjusted to your desired location.
If you want to change the order of these sections, you can do this by Settings - Reorder page. You can drag and drop to reorder, and use the “trash” icon to remove a section you no longer need.
Changing your fonts and colours
You can update the font, colours, and button styles to match your company's brand and style by heading to Settings - Style. If you use a font that we don’t currently offer, or your business has a unique font that isn’t publicly available, we may be able to add for you at a nominal cost.
Updating your navigation links
You can add or edit your company's social media pages (LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram and more). These can be added under Settings - Navigation Links.
You can also add any additional links you would like in either the header or footer of your career page.
Preview and publish your careers site
When you've added the content of your career page, you can preview it before publishing. To do this, head to Settings in your careers page editor, then Preview.
This will open in a new tab for you to review.
Publishing your careers site
Once you're happy with your preview, you can publish your careers page. To do this, head to Settings in your careers page editor, then Publish. Until you choose to publish the page, it’s not publicly available.
Your career page's URL can be found in Settings - Career Site - Settings - Link to careers page. You can copy this URL to use on your website as a redirect from your “Careers” or “Jobs” page
Integrating with your existing career page
We also offer an API and iFrame giving you flexibility in how you display your live jobs, if you wish to integrate into an existing careers page.
Note: you may need support from an IT contact within your organisation to get this integration up and running.
iFrame integration
The easiest way to integrate is by using the iFrame. Your iFrame code can be found under Settings - Career Site - Settings. This can then be copied, and embedded into your website code base where you would like your vacancies to appear.
This will bring up a box that looks similar to the “jobs” section of the career builder on Candidly, where vacancies you post on Recruitment will be displayed if you select 'Make your job visible' at the Sharing stage of job set up. When a prospective applicant clicks on one of the vacancies, they'll be taken through to the apply page that we host on Recruitment for that job, enabling the candidate to submit their application with ease directly into your kanban for your review.
The text colour used here can be edited at Settings - Company - Profile - Brand Colour
API integration
You can also integrate Recruitment with your career page using our API, which allows for greater customisation of how the jobs appear on your site.
The API key and documentation can be found under Settings - Integrations - Jobs API.
