Why are sick leave follow-up notifications sent to the wrong manager?

Sick leave follow-up notifications may be sent to the wrong manager if the organizational structure has changed without the sick leave follow-up being updated accordingly.

Manually transfer responsibility for sick leave follow-up

For an active sick leave case, you can transfer the responsibility manually:

1. Click Manage for the relevant sick leave case.
2. Click the circle with three dots at the top.
3. Select Transfer responsibility.
4. The name of the new department manager appears. Confirm the transfer.

Automate the transfer of responsibility for sick leave follow-up

To transfer responsibility for sick leave follow-up automatically when a manager changes:

1. Go to System settings → Sick leave → Other sick leave settings.
2. Enable Automatically transfer open sick leave cases to the new manager when the nearest manager is changed.

Important

This setting is not retroactive. It applies from the time you enable it and takes effect the next time someone changes the nearest manager.
