How do I log in to and navigate Simployer Portal?

Modified on Wed, 30 Sep at 4:21 PM

Simployer HRM is also called Simployer Portal. Simployer Portal is where you normally log in to use Simployer.

How do I log in to Simployer Portal?

  1. Go to https://portal.simployer.com, or https://handbooks.simployer.com if you only need to use handbooks.
  2. Enter your username, which is usually your email address, and password.
  3. If you have forgotten your password, click Forgotten password on the login page. If you are a new user and have not received an email to set your password, contact your implementation consultant during implementation or Customer Support.

What does the Simployer Portal home page show?

After you log in to Simployer Portal, the home page displays Today's Overview, including birthdays, anniversaries, and any absence information.

What you see in Today's Overview depends on your modules and role:

  • A system administrator sees the full overview, including absence information for everyone.
  • An employee does not see absence information in Today's Overview.
  • A manager only sees absence information for their own employees.

How do I navigate Simployer Portal?

  • Use the left-hand menu to navigate to different features in Simployer Portal. The menu is available wherever you are in the system.
  • Use the person search field to search for an employee and go directly to their profile page.
  • Click the button in the upper-left corner to open the global menu. The global menu gives you access to other Simployer applications outside Simployer Portal, such as handbooks, processes, and employment contracts, depending on your modules. You can also return to Simployer Portal from the global menu.
  • Click your name or initials in the upper-right corner to log out or change account settings, including the language. Simployer is available in Norwegian, Swedish, and English.

How does my role affect access in Simployer Portal?

Your access in Simployer Portal depends on the role of the account you use to log in:

  • A system administrator sees all menus and has full access to all data.
  • An employee has full access only to their own data.
  • A manager has full access to data for the employees who report to them.
