Are new travel allowance rates updated automatically?

Yes. Simployer is responsible for keeping the standard travel allowance rates up to date.

When the Norwegian Government or the Norwegian Tax Administration publishes new rates, our subject matter experts review the changes and update the rates in Simployer.

This means you do not need to maintain or update the standard rates yourself. Travel and expense claims will always use the current standard rates available in Simployer.

Note: If your organisation uses Custom Rates, those rates are managed by your own organisation and are not updated automatically by Simployer.
