The AI assistant in Simployer helps you find HR information in seconds. This first release is a beta. By trying the AI assistant early and sharing feedback, you can help shape future versions.

What can the AI assistant in Simployer do?

Ask the AI assistant in Simployer a question as you would ask a colleague. In this first version, the AI assistant can help you with:

• People and profiles: Look up a colleague, view your own profile, or find a person’s department or immediate manager. (“Who is Karin Ordman’s immediate manager?” “Show me my profile.”)
• Organization and departments: Explore the company structure and view department or company details. (“Which department do I belong to?” “Show me the organization chart.”)
• Employment and positions: View job titles, start dates, employment history, and reporting lines. (“When did I start?” “Which positions has this person held?”)
• Groups: View available groups and their members. (“Who is in the HR group?”)
• Contact information: Find email addresses, phone numbers, and address details for people, departments, and groups
• Document categories and custom fields: Look up document categories and custom or extended properties used by your organization
• Name search: Find a person, group, or department by entering its name

What can’t the AI assistant in Simployer do yet?

The AI assistant in Simployer is a beta and will be expanded over time:

• Read-only access: The AI assistant can find and display information, but it cannot create, update, or delete data
• Not yet covered: Sickness absence, other absences, vacation days, travel, and expenses are on the roadmap but are not included in this release

Where can you use the AI assistant in Simployer?

The AI assistant in Simployer is available in the web app on both desktop and mobile. On mobile, asking a question is often faster than navigating menus on a small screen.

How do you enable the AI assistant in Simployer?

The AI assistant in Simployer is available to all Classic customers but is turned off by default. You will see a grayed-out assistant icon in the upper-right corner.

An administrator can enable the AI assistant at any time under Administration > Other > Turn features on/off. Your organization decides whether and when to activate the AI assistant.
