Connecting Cronofy to Recruitment

Simployer Recruitment`s interview scheduling allows you to automate the scheduling of interviews, offering candidates a 1-1 interview, either by phone, video or in-person, or supporting panel style interviews with multiple client-side attendees, or sequential interviews where multiple interviewers take part in a single interview stage as different times, eg ‘Hiring Manager A’ doing 30-mins followed by 45-mins with ‘Hiring Manager B’. 

The first thing to do to enable automated interview scheduling is to connect to Cronofy, our API which enables us to gather your live calendar availability. 

To set this up, head to Settings - Integrations - My Integrations

Then, find Cronofy and click Connect. You will be prompted to integrate your individual work email account. You will receive a success message, and the button with show as “Disconnect” once the integration is complete.

Note: we do not support integration with shared inboxes through Cronofy as this integration requires a personal calendar to be available to select slots from.

Note: If your company uses Microsoft for business, the highest likelihood is that you have Microsoft 365 – please ensure you select Office 365 from the Cronofy options, not Outlook.com, for example.

Once you have integrated your calendar, you can set your availability for interviews  by going to Settings – Personal – My Preferences. Here you can select your date format, time zone and the days and hours that you wish to be available for interview, in conjunction with your live calendar availability
