What happens when all signing parties have signed a document in Simployer One?
When every required signing party has signed, Simployer One completes the signing process automatically:
- The document is sealed.
- The signing process gets the status Completed and moves to the Sealed tab under Documents → Signing processes.
- A signed PDF is created and stored securely in Simployer One.
- Everyone involved in the signing process gets an email confirming that the document has been signed by all parties.
- The signing process creator becomes the owner of the signed PDF.
- Signing parties and observers get read-only access to the signed document. They can view and download it.
You don’t need to upload the signed document manually after signing. For who can open the signed document and where they find it, see: Who can access a signed document in Simployer One?
How do I download a signed document in Simployer One?
You can download the signed PDF from Simployer One after all required signing parties have signed. You need to be able to manage the signing process: Owners and Admins, the signing process creator, or a Manager with the E-signing / Signing process permission for the signing processes they created.
- Select Documents → Signing processes.
- Open the Sealed tab and find the completed signing process.
- Click the three-dot menu (Actions).
- Select Download PDF.
The signed PDF downloads to your device.
Note
The signed PDF is only available after all required signing parties have signed.
