Who can configure email settings in Employee Surveys?
Only Employee Surveys administrators can change account-level email settings. Managers and users cannot access these settings.
How do I configure result emails in Employee Surveys
Employee Surveys administrators can control whether results emails are sent and which users receive them.
Results emails are sent on Monday mornings when survey results become available in the Employee Surveys app and dashboard. These emails encourage recipients to review their results and start working with the reports.
By default, results emails are enabled for administrators and managers.
To configure results emails:
1. Go to Employee Surveys > Account > then select the Email settings tab.
2. Find Results emails and turn the setting on or off.
3. Under Results email recipients, select one or more recipient groups:
- Admins: Receive results for Everyone, groups they own, groups they are direct members of, and the target group, according to the visibility settings selected when the pulse was scheduled.
- Managers: Receive results for groups they own, groups they are direct members of, and the target group, according to the visibility settings selected when the pulse was scheduled.
- All users: Receive results for groups they are direct members of and the target group, according to the visibility settings selected when the pulse was scheduled.
4. Select Save at the bottom of the page.
Important: Results email delivery and content depend on the recipient's role, group access, and the results visibility settings selected when the pulse was scheduled. Enabling results emails does not guarantee that every selected recipient will receive results.
How do I customize the email subject for new questions in Employee Surveys?
Employee Surveys administrators can customize the subject line of emails sent when new survey questions open.
By default, Employee Surveys randomly selects one of these four subject lines:

To customize the email subject:
- Go to Employee Surveys > Account > then select the Email settings tab.
- Find Custom email subject for new questions.
- Turn the setting on to enter your custom subject line in the text box. The maximum length is 800 characters, but we recommend keeping it short.
- To use the standard subject lines instead, turn the setting off.
- Select Save at the bottom of the page.
Note: This setting only applies to emails sent when new questions open. Reminder emails sent on Fridays at 12:00 to employees with unanswered questions cannot be customized.

How do I change the default email notification settings for new users in Employee Surveys?
