Sick leave notifications in Simployer Classic
If you are experiencing issues with sick leave notifications (sykmeldinger) not appearing in Simployer Classic, you are not alone. This situation arises due to the transition to Altinn 3, where sick leave notifications are now retrieved directly from NAV instead of Altinn, as was the case previously. Here’s what you need to know:
1. **Direct Retrieval from NAV**: Currently, only sick leave notifications that have been approved by the employee and sent to the employer are fetched from NAV. This means that if an employee has not completed this step, the sick leave will not appear in Simployer.
2. **Limited Data Transfer**: At present, only the essential data from the sick leave notification is being registered in Simployer. Unfortunately, NAV has not yet completed the development of a solution that would allow the sick leave PDF to be sent directly to HR systems like Simployer. The timeline for this feature is still uncertain, so for now, only basic data is available.
Checking for Received Notifications
If you are unsure whether a sick leave notification has been received in Simployer, we recommend that the administrator or manager check the overview of received sick leave notifications. To do this, follow these steps:
- Navigate to the left menu in Simployer.
- Click on **Sykefravær** (Sick Leave).
- Select **sykemelding** (sick leave notifications).
- Change the search filter to include all statuses.
- Enter the employee's name in the filter box to locate their sick leave notification.
