The Role of the Administrator in Simployer Classic handbooks

If you are confident and competent in your role as an administrator, and the company’s content is kept up to date, this will help ensure that the handbooks are used.

In cases where employees feel the module is insufficient, it is often because internal content is not maintained continuously.

Lack of maintenance can have many causes, for example:

  • change of administrator – knowledge transfer

  • new editors

  • busy workdays

  • unforeseen events

  • etc.

The administration mode in the handbooks is designed to be as user-friendly as possible. If you need to update your skills as an administrator, we recommend:

  • using the interactive help in the handbooks, where there is a separate option for training editors/administrators

  • attending training with a Simployer consultant, e.g., via Teams

  • getting assistance from Simployer to refresh the handbooks

Many companies are constantly changing, such as reorganizations, acquisitions, or mergers into a new company. It is easy to include revised/new procedures, policies, and other content in the handbooks. New companies can be added via access control in the handbooks.
