How is the pay gap calculated?

The pay gap is calculated as a percentage, using the formula:
((averageMaleSalaries - averageFemaleSalaries) / averageMaleSalaries) × 100

The result is expressed as an absolute value, meaning it cannot be less than 0%.
The maximum possible value is 100%.
